Welcome Monroe Garland

I would like to welcome and share a little bit about the new additions to our Monroe Family. Please take a few moments are get to know Garland’s Inc. We are all very excited to have all of you a part of our OneMonroe family.

Established in Minneapolis, 1944, Garland’s Inc has been distributing casters, wheels, shelving, and a wide variety of other material handling products for over seventy years. Garland’s continued growth and stability allowed them to expand into Iowa, Colorado, and Wisconsin, giving them the ability to provide greater service to the Midwest.

As one of the top caster distributors in the nation, Garland’s Inc. brings the needs of our customers directly to the caster industry’s forefront. Being a long standing member of the National Caster Alliance, Garlands Inc. has cultivated close relationships with some of the most well known manufacturers in the caster industry. In addition to the thousands of other manufacturers they offer, they proudly represent the entire line of Colson products: Colson, Albion, Shepherd, MedCaster, Jarvis, Faultless, and Pemco.

Before merging with Monroe, Garland’s Inc. was proudly owned and operated by the Smith brothers, Bob, Tom, and Jerry who bought the company from their father, Ralph Smith. The Smiths grew up in the caster business and helped their father assemble casters, carbon copy invoices, and run the family business before eventually buying the business from him. The Garland’s team is committed to providing the highest caliber of service and quality products to our customers year after year. We are thrilled to now be a part of Monroe and look forward to continued growth in the future.
