Military Artillery Field Repair Kits

Field repairs to Military Artillery require special consideration. In the past combat, operations have led to the need to repair damaged Howitzers and cannons under fire in remote areas.

A good example was the Battle of Dien Bien Phu when French artillery was damaged and repair kits had to be parachuted in. Many of the kits drifted outside the defensive perimeter and were lost to the enemy.

Monroe has provided the American warfighter with a kit that can be dropped without a parachute from a helicopter directly where it needs to go. We can’t tell you from how far up….but it is a long way!
